Set in five acres of land, this is home to our three alpacas, Zulu, Ginger and Blue, also our 3 pygmy goats, Fern, Gnasher and Smokey Joe. We have two Labradors Dee and Monkey who will come and say hello if you would like. Plus the mad terrier Brillo!.
Crown Cottage Farm is in the small village of Embsay, two miles from the market town of Skipton. Skipton High Street was voted Best High Street in 2008. Visit its colourful market on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Explore Skipton's medieval castle, one of the best preserved famous castles in Britain, or take a canal trip on the Leeds Liverpool Canal which passes through Skipton's Canal Basin.
The rural setting of our B&B makes us a great base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park. For those that like to walk there is plenty of breath taking scenery, from riverside walks to moorland hikes. Bolton Abbey, Grassington, Kettlewell, Malham are all a short car drive away. Or head up the Dales to Hawes and Leyburn. Harrogate and the historic city of York are easily accessible. There are many great places to visit when staying here.
